APPLICATION INFO
Surface Preparation: New concrete must have a 28-day cure and be applied to a clean/sound substrate that is free of laitance and curing compounds. Mechanical preparation by means of shot-blasting or diamond grinding to a minimum of a CSP 2/3 as defined by ICRI, then properly vacuumed to remove any remaining dust.
Mixing: Pre-mix all three components separately for approximately 1-2 minutes. Combine the metallic pigment into Part A and mix for approximately 3 minutes. Let this mixture sit for at least 1 hour to make sure pigment becomes saturated with the resin (failure to do this could leave dry pigment in the finish coat.) Add Part B and mix an additional 3 minutes at a low to medium rpm.
Applying Product: Pour product into “ribbons”, then spread with a high-quality squeegee. Using a high-quality non-shed roller cover to spread material in a random fashion. A Magic Trowel is also an alternative to achieving various ”looks”.
Typical Coverage will be between 60-100 square feet per gallon. This will vary depending on the surface to which the mixed product is applied. The final system should be no less than 25 mils in thickness.
